Exhibition of works of the Jurmala Art School students “Amazing Israel”

Exhibition of works of students of the Jurmala Art School “Amazing Israel” was opened in the Riga Jewish Community house.
It has become a tradition in the Jurmala Art School to create works by studying the history, culture and art of one of the countries located by the sea. Israel became that country last year. The Israeli Embassy provided the school with various videos about nature, cities and culture, artist Ilana Lisagor introduced students to Jewish traditions and art.
More than 200 students aged 5 to 16 were inspired to create works in various techniques while exploring Israel.
Some of these works can be seen on the first and third floors of the Riga Jewish Community until the end of June.
