From November 1941 till winter 1942 around 25,000 Jews were deported from the German Reich to Riga.
This project tries to document the fates of these people and make them available to a wider audience.

Jungfernhof - "Lock(er) of Memory" Project
Until recently there was no commemoration of Jungfernhof concentration camp, where almost 4 thousand Jews from Germany and Austria were imprisoned. Recently the site has been redeveloped as Mazjumpravas muižas parks. The project "Locker of Memory" by Prof. Karen Frostig aims at proper remembrance of the history of the camp.
